Gaia - The Earth Living

Most people tend to think that 'Global' Warming is not my problem and I dont think I can do anything about it. But in reality, thats not true. If we critically look at what going on in the world today, the globe has become more of a 'village' than a vast expanse of land separated by oceans. This is even more true in the case of climate. Recent research by climatologists has given good insights in to how the climate of whole earth is inter-linked and proverbially 'how a butterfly flying in jungles of Brazil can cause a tsunami in Japan'. To fondly recall James Lovelock's words ' This whole earth is like one Giant Living system, Gaia. Any change that happens to one part of the system will definately affect the whole organism'. From this perspective every act that you and I do affects Global atmosphere. Will write about those in my next post.
